SheTV.com was launched in 2023 by a group of passionate physicians who wanted to create a new kind of media platform. We are the Lakeside physician groups of Oklahoma City. We are OBGYN's, general surgeons, gastroenterologists, anesthesiologists, urologists, and urogynecologists.
As physicians, we are challenged every day to battle the overwhelming amount of misinformation that bombards our patients from social media and mass media. SheTV.com is our effort to spread information that is evidence-based. That means it comes from scientific studies that are peer-reviewed and repeated by unrelated groups and produce the same results.
Our primary goal is to give women as much true and accurate information about their health as we can, so that they can make informed decisions. We prioritize according to both the amount of interest women have in a given subject as well as what we believe are the most critical facts that need to be shared.
This video was made to help decrease the anxiety first-time moms feel concerning having an epidural placed.
MD or DO anesthesiologist are a better value than nurse anesthetists or anesthesia associates. The docs have twice the the training, 4 years of college, 4 years of med school, and 4 years of residency. The biggest thing is that they are physicians first and then do 4 more years of specialized training in anesthesia. It costs at least 4 times as much to train an anesthesiologist as it does to train a nurse anesthetist. That’s why physician-provided anesthesia keeps getting harder to get. You will get it at Lakeside Women’s Hospital. I don’t know about you, but when I go to see the doctor, I want to see the doctor.
Dr. Arielle Allen describes what a Urogynecologist does, what procedures they do, and what conditions they treat.
GERD is extremely common in the population and affects many lives negatively. Dr. Pooja SiMughal, board-certified Gastroenterologist describes the disease, its signs and symptom, its treatment, and what you can do at home by changing your eating habits to make it better.
Dr. Dana Stone, board-certified OG-GYN, explains why it is safe and recommended to take some vaccines during pregnancy.
